Been building Sonatic - where agents perform actions without prompts. It's wild. No weekends, just startup-induced time dilation. Everything's breaking, but we're vibing. If you've ever felt imposter syndrome while raising your first baby, hmu.
Left Cohesity where I was doing deep backend work (C++, distributed systems, all the spicy stuff). It was secure, stable, and honestly a great learning environment. But I knew I had to bet on myself. Now it's me + my co-founder, some ramen, and a whole lotta GitHub commits.
2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost in Metallic Gray - daily driven, occasionally abused. It’s got just enough torque to make up for my emotional instability. Mods coming soon: downpipe + tune + maybe a wing (don’t judge).
Moved to South Bay for work. 8:30 pm sunsets are crazy good. Winters are depressing though. Still getting used to the quiet life here after 23 years in chaos.
Joined Cohesity in 2020. My onboarding was basically 'here’s your laptop and 800 Jira tickets.' Learned a ton about distributed storage, AWS backups, and debugging under pressure. Didn’t meet most of the team IRL for 8 months lol.
One day we were prepping for midsems, next day the campus shut down. Never got a farewell, convocation, or even to bunk lectures for the last time. Bitter-sweet way to end IITK. Still, Zoom calls with 3G lag kinda built character I guess.
Back in high school, I was that kid grinding KVPY, NTSE, and IIT like they were boss levels. Looking back, it taught me more about pressure and delayed gratification than anything else. Shoutout to everyone who memorized the periodic table by heart.
Welcome to my weird corner of the internet. Just a portal to my thoughts, projects, experiments, and open-ended dev logs. Get to know who sahil is really!
